In high season (Easter, July & August and Christmas) flight prices can be much higher, so it's always best to book as far in advance as possible to ensure the lowest fare. Flights to Mexico - USA stopovers

Stopovers

As there are not many direct flights to Mexico from the UK, you'll have to change flights somewhere along the way. There are many choices and we have listed a few above, but if there is somewhere specific you'd like to stopover just get in contact and we'll see if it's possible.

The best value flights to Mexico tend to go via either Spain, or the USA, cities such as Madrid, Miami or New York. Your flights to Mexico are usually no more expensive if you just transit (usually 2 to 5 hours), or opt to take a few nights stopover. A two night stay is usually enough for a good rest, and enough time to have a look around the highlights of the city. We'll arrange accommodation, in a centrally located hotel. There is plenty of choice from a simple but comfortable base, to top end deluxe hotels.

Domestic Mexico flights
Domestic flights around Mexico and Guatemala are affordable, and can help save time and long bus journeys, these will be booked and included in your Travel Plan price if your request.

Deposits
If you're booking your Mexico flights through us, and your departure date is more than 3 months in advance, it might be possible to pay a £75 deposit and settle the balance of the flights at a later date. Some of the cheaper airline tickets require immediate payment, but we'll advise you at the time of booking of your options. Generally these days it's not recommended to hold flights on deposit for too long, as although your seat is reserved, the price is not fixed until you pay in full. In the current climate the fuel surcharges on flights are increasing at an alarming rate, and can mean when you come to pay the balance the final price can have increased.
